Richer Life Recovery

Richer Life Recovery is a transformative, sex-positive online journey rooted in doctoral research, clinical best practices, and compassion. Whether you’ve been struggling for months or decades, this program is designed to help you rebuild trust, restore connection, and reclaim your life on your terms.

This is not another shame-based course that tells you what’s “wrong” with you. It’s a comprehensive, research-backed program that teaches you how to regulate behavior, reconnect with your emotions, and rediscover the beauty of healthy sexuality. Developed from my PhD work, this program brings together neuroscience, trauma-informed therapy, and compassionate care to help you heal at the deepest level.

As both a Certified Sex Therapist (AASECT) and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (IITAP), I’ve spent years walking alongside individuals and couples in the painful reality of compulsive sexual behaviors, pornography addiction, betrayal, and relational breakdown. I believe recovery is not about rejecting your sexuality — it’s about reclaiming it with integrity, authenticity, and joy.

Why is Richer Life Recovery Different?

Most “sex addiction” programs emphasize abstinence, shame, or rigid control. While short-term abstinence can be an important part of healing, those models often fail to explore the possibility of healthy sexual expression. This program is built on a sex-positive framework, meaning that sexuality itself isn’t the enemy; disconnection is.

Healing from sexual addiction is not about rejecting desire; it’s about understanding it, regulating it, and integrating it into a healthy, fulfilling life.

Key Pillars of the Program:

  1. Nonjudgmental Acceptance — Freedom from guilt, shame, and moral judgment.
  2. Evidence-Based Tools — Drawn from neuroscience, psychology, and sexology research.
  3. Personalization — Every person’s story and recovery path are unique; this program honors that individuality.
  4. Whole-Person Healing — Addressing behavior, emotion, relationships, spirituality, and identity together.
  5. Sex-Positive Education — Focusing on healthy sexual expression, not suppression.

Because this program was developed through my PhD research, you’re receiving an experience grounded in scientific evidence, clinical expertise, and human compassion, not ideology or fear.

Program Structure: A Ten-Course Journey Toward Sexual Health and Wholeness

This online program is divided into ten comprehensive courses designed to guide you from crisis and confusion toward clarity, self-trust, and meaningful connection. Each course includes video lessons, written exercises, guided reflections, and actionable tools you can implement right away.

The first four courses focus on understanding and interrupting addictive cycles.
The next three explore relationship repair and emotional reconnection.
The final three help you define your identity, embrace your sexuality, and create lasting transformation.

1. First Step Into Recovery

Lay the foundation for long-term healing from sexual or pornography addiction. Learn how to identify withdrawal symptoms, understand the trauma your behaviors have caused, and recognize what keeps you stuck. This course provides actionable tools to prevent relapse and establish emotional stability as you begin your recovery journey.

2. Understanding Addiction

In this course, you’ll explore the cycle of addiction and learn how your brain’s reward system, triggers, and emotional numbing perpetuate compulsive sexual behavior. You’ll gain insight into why change is so difficult — and how to create new, lasting patterns that support freedom and growth.

3. Denial and Repression

Learn how to identify cognitive distortions and self-sabotaging beliefs that keep you trapped. You’ll confront your denial, challenge rationalizations, and practice reality-based thinking. This course teaches you how to rebuild trust — in yourself, your recovery, and your relationships — through self-awareness and accountability.

4. Healthy Living & Relapse Prevention

Build a practical, personalized relapse prevention plan. You’ll clarify your reasons for recovery and create a roadmap to maintain emotional, physical, and relational health. Discover how to cultivate joy, connection, and peace through intentional habits that make “acting out” unnecessary and unappealing.

5. Shame, Guilt, & Other Emotions

Dive deep into the emotional roots of addiction. You’ll learn how shame and guilt drive compulsive behaviors — and how to heal from toxic shame that keeps you disconnected. This module teaches emotional regulation, vulnerability, and empathy as pathways toward healing.

6. Family Influences on Your Relationship & Addiction

Explore how your family of origin and early attachment patterns shape your current struggles. Identify the repeating themes and relational wounds that have followed you into adulthood. Once you recognize these cycles, you’ll begin building new, secure patterns of connection and self-worth.

7. Building Trust & Empathy

Healing relationships is central to recovery. In this course, you’ll learn practical tools for rebuilding trust with your partner and loved ones. You’ll also develop true empathy — not guilt or pity, but the ability to feel with another person. This is where real reconnection begins.

8. Your Relationship Cycle

Break free from unhealthy relational dynamics and communication patterns that keep you disconnected. This module helps you understand your relationship cycles and teaches you how to establish emotional intimacy and healthier conflict resolution.

9. Developing Deep Connection & Meaning

Go beyond behavior change into life transformation. This course helps you rediscover purpose, identity, and connection — to your partner, community, and authentic self. You’ll replace numbing behaviors with genuine joy, creativity, and meaning.

10. Masculinity, Fantasy, & Objectification

Understand your fantasies and their origins without shame. Explore cultural narratives about masculinity, power, and objectification that shape your sexual behavior. This course helps you build boundaries around fantasy, integrate desire healthily, and redefine masculinity with integrity and respect.

11. Building Healthy Sexuality

In this final course, you’ll learn how to create a thriving, healthy sexual life. Explore intimacy, romance, and eroticism from a grounded, sex-positive perspective. The goal is not to suppress your sexuality, but to celebrate it — within a framework of consent, connection, and authenticity.

  • Tools to understand your emotions, triggers, and desires
  • Deeper connection with your partner and yourself
